About Atlantis Tutoring
Who we are
Atlantis Tutoring was set up due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, which impacted the education of thousands of pupils worldwide. Within a couple of years, we have earned an excellent reputation. All our tutors have high levels of knowledge and proficiency in their respective subjects. They use a range of teaching styles, including one-to-one teaching, small group teaching and online/remote teaching via learning platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

We also understand that each student has a unique learning style and study habits, and how difficult it can be to receive appropriate support in the classroom. That’s why we cater our tutoring services to the particular needs and circumstances of each individual student. We're particularly keen to help and support students from socially and economically deprived backgrounds.

We specialise in the teaching of Key Stages 1-3, GCSEs, IGCSEs, A Levels - particularly STEM subjects. For international students, we also offer tuition in IELTS (International English Language Testing Scheme). Additionally, a new service for 2023 is to provide support and tuition for the Oxbridge exams and interviews. With our close connections with not only Oxford and Cambridge universities in the UK, but other Ivy League universities including Harvard and Yale in the USA, we offer training to prospective students.

Our Mission and Ethos
Atlantis Tutoring is an online, bespoke tutition service that provides an essential set of skills to equip students for the world of academia. It combines the demands of our modern education system and its range of paradigms, framworks and critera with the traditional principles and values regarding the nature of holistic learning. It believes in the empowerment of the individual to reach their full potential, by inspiring and engaging them, and developing their critical thinking skills not only for exam purposes but for employment and vocational training.

We prepare students for both formative and summative assessments including end-of-course examinations by familiarising them with the language and descriptors of exam papers and their different questions.
Since September 2021, we have also been providing tuition and guidance on Oxbridge Entrance Exams and preparation for the interviews.
